Abstract
The study investigated the influence of industrial work experience on students academic performance in the department of electrical /electronic. The study adopted a descriptive survey design, while random sampling technique was used to select the respondents. The instrument for data collection was administered to 50 respondents and the responses used for the study. The instrument was vetted by the supervisor in the department of electrical /electronic. Data collected were analyzed using percentage analysis. The results of the data analyses were all significant and from the results of the analysis, it was conclude that word processing skills, storage of information, influence indigenous trainee manpower in office technology and management.
